Since the beginning of March 2006, the new product of VD Office, called "KNOX" remote hosting is live. Several customers already use the advantages of hosting their IT environment. Issues of regularly backing-up files, using a remote desktop, up-to-date virus checking, and sharing documents and information are no longer causing you headaches. We take care of these issues, so you can concentrate on doing the business you are good at. People using KNOX are very enthusiastic about this product. |

On Friday December 16th Vision Dynamics hosted a presentation by eight students of the Leidse InstrumentmakersSchool (LIS) and four trainees of ATMI, Java Indonesia. The assignment the students received a year earlier was to review and, if possible, revise the framework of an electron source in an electron microscope. The exactitude of the position of the source had to be within a few thousandths of a millimeter and it had to be possible to assemble the new customer friendly solution in a microscope quickly. Furthermore the temperature and vacuum demands were challenging. |
